Meet Hussein Abdulameer, DDS
Dr. Hussein is committed to creating and restoring beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients. As a highly regarded cosmetic dentist, he specializes in a full range of dental procedures, including dental implants and clear aligner therapy.
His journey in dentistry began in Ukraine, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). He later moved to the United States and attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). During his time at Indiana University, he was recognized by the Dental Student Progress Committee for his outstanding clinical performance.
Dr. Hussein practiced dentistry in the Tampa Bay Area, where he gained experience working in a high-end dental practice, before establishing his practice in Plant City, he lived in New Hampshire, Boston, and Indiana. Now, he is proud to call Florida home.
Dr. Hussein actively enhances his dental expertise through postdoctoral continuing education courses, annual conferences, and local study groups. He is also affiliated with several prestigious dental organizations, including:
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
- Florida Dental Association (FDA)
- Pinellas County Dental Association (PCDA)
- International Dental Implant Association (IDIA)
- Fellow and Master designation from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI)
These associations provide him with professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry and technology. He prioritizes a pain-free dental experience, ensuring his patients achieve confident, healthy smiles.
Dr. Hussein looks forward to welcoming new patients and becoming an integral part of the Plant City community. His expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to patient care make him a valuable addition to the area.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Hussein enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with his family.
April Ferry
Dental Hygienist
April’s dental background began in 1996 while she was a senior in high school. She started working at a local dental practice where she did scheduling and assisted the doctors for many procedures including periodontal surgery. After graduation, April continued to work in the dental field while obtaining her AA degree from Hillsborough Community College and expanded duties certificate from Nova Southeastern College.
After working as a main hygiene assistant for 4 years, April discovered her true passion for dentistry lay in preventative care. Excited to specialize in this area, she furthered her education at Valencia Community College, earning an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. Since then, April has dedicated her career to being a dental hygienist, a role that brings her immense satisfaction and fulfillment. She loves it!
In 2014, April joined our practice, and we are grateful to have her as an integral part of our team. Born and raised in Plant City, she values her community and actively participates in her church. In her leisure time, she cherishes moments with her loved ones, both family and friends. April considers it a blessing to work alongside her family in our practice. She and her partner, Michael, experienced another source of joy in June 2017 with the arrival of their pride and joy, Caiden. We are delighted to have April’s expertise and genuine passion for dentistry as part of our team.
Jessica
Patient Coordinator
Jessica brings over 15 years of experience in the dental field and a genuine passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. She began her dental career in 2011, when she became a trained and licensed dental assistant, and has continued to grow her experience and knowledge throughout the years.
As a Patient Coordinator, Jessica especially enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. She believes that taking the time to truly listen and understand each patient’s wants, needs, and goals is an important part of providing exceptional care. Her goal is to make every patient feel heard, valued, and confident throughout their dental experience.
Jessica is excited to continue building meaningful relationships with our patients and helping them along their dental journey.
Outside of the office, Jessica is a wife and proud mom of two children, ages 11 and 3. She loves spending quality time with her family, reading, and traveling.
Maggie
New Patient Coordinator
Maggie is the New Patient Coordinator has been working in the dental field for over two years. She truly enjoys getting to know each patient and making them feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
One of Maggie’s favorite parts of her role is being able to connect with patients and help create a positive experience at every visit. She loves being part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of their patients.
Outside of the office, Maggie enjoys spending quality time with her family, which is very important to her. She also loves staying active by going to the gym and taking Pilates classes. Maggie is grateful to be part of the Inspired Dentistry family and looks forward to welcoming patients with a friendly smile at every visit!
Rubi
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Born and raised in Plant City, Florida, Rubi brings a strong passion for patient care, technology, and continued growth to the team at Inspired Dentistry of Plant City.
Rubi began her professional career in customer service, where she discovered how much she enjoyed helping others and creating positive experiences. In 2024, inspired by family members in the dental field, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry—one that would allow her to continue learning while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Rubi joined Inspired Dentistry of Plant City in 2025 and quickly became an important part of our clinical team. Working closely with Dr. Hussein, she has continued to expand her clinical skills and knowledge while helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visits.
In addition to her dental assisting skills, Rubi has developed experience with some of the advanced digital technology used in our practice. She assists with our CEREC same-day crown workflow, helping our team create custom restorations right in the office. She is also experienced with our SprintRay 3D-printing technology, which our team uses to create same-day provisional teeth for advanced procedures, including All-on-X (AOX) full-arch implant treatment.
Rubi also has knowledge and experience assisting with IV sedation procedures, helping our clinical team prepare for treatment, monitor patients, and maintain a safe, organized, and comfortable environment throughout their care.
Rubi takes pride in being part of a practice that combines compassionate care with modern dental technology. She is committed to continuing her education, strengthening her clinical skills, and growing her career in dentistry while helping provide an exceptional experience for every patient.
Outside of the office, Rubi enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and relaxing at the beach. She values creating meaningful memories with the people she loves and is always looking forward to her next adventure and opportunity to grow.
Amaris
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Amaris brings six years of dental experience and a strong commitment to compassionate patient care to Inspired Dentistry of Plant City. As a dedicated dental assistant, she helps patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visits. She takes pride in working closely with the dental team to create a welcoming environment and a positive patient experience.
A proud mother of two, Amaris brings patience, empathy, and attentive listening to both her personal and professional life. Her dedication to continuous learning and genuine care for others shine through in her work every day.
